I love this place! Fresh cut fries with some great salt choices. The fish is fresh and delicious. It's off of the main walk in a cute little alley with a number of tables and usually there's live music. It can take a minute to make, but the food is worth it. Great thing is that there are other choices of food right there so everyone can get what they want.

Was recommended to come here, funny story; i was walking thru venice, and i don't make a habit of eating from bins, but walked past one which had a half finished, clearly fresh portion of chips. Being a brit, i do like "chips"; and wow. So i told my friend i was meeting, and she said i had to go; same place! Went yesterday, excellent service - lovely vibes, friendly, helpful, courteous - their rosemary salt is lush addition, the condiments list is to die for, for such a humble venue; and their ranch dressing was spectacular sour cream dip. All in all, even though i rarely eat fried food anymore, this was a real treat!

Ordered a box of chips because I smelled it from someone else and asked them where they got the fries. They are hand cut Belgian type fries where it's thick cut and perfectly crispy on the outside and piping out in the middle where you go "ahhh ahhhhh ahhh" with your mouth because it's so fresh and hot. I captioned the photo "fry facial" because you are literally getting a facial with the steam when you opened the box. It comes with two toppings and a sauce if your choice. I went with garlic and rosemary. Winning combo when it's already seasoned with salt. Every bite had both. Couldn't even finish because the order was plentiful. Will def come back.

Shoutout to The Wee Chippy! They are my go to spot for fish and chips! I've tried several locations and nothing in the SFV beats their quality of food. They have several options available from calamari, fish, shrimp, and alternative options as well. Definitely suggest trying the lochness monster combo if you want to try a bit of everything. Their rosemary, applewood smoked and jalapeño salts are my favorite! Their fries are on another level, very fresh and chunky. Perfectly soft and hot inside. Staff is very friendly as well, service is quick! Usually about 15 mins, a little longer if they're very busy. Be aware depending on time and food supply, they might not have shrimp or calamari available.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to share, but this food is so gosh darn good and golden. You'll have to take my word for it and come down to check it out! Dave was the gentlemen that I had ordered from today and what an awesome guy! Very sweet and helpful Will definitely be back!

Fish was crispy. The salt and dipping sauce options were plentiful. They even had vegan and gluten free options. Sold out fast (by 3pm).

We went here for a very casual dinner on a Friday evening. It's located right off the beach in an area that has multiple eateries. You order at a window and there is no dedicated seating, but some communal seating with the other restaurants. We took our food and ate on the beach. We ordered the fish and chips and the combo and chips (fish and shrimp). The portions were huge and then fish and shrimp were fried perfectly. You can choose a salt flavor for your fries as well and j chose a garlic seasoning. Would definitely recommend this place for a delicious but casual fish and chips. Only downside was the seating, but not too bad since you can just sit by the water.

If you're walking on the pier in Malibu and you're looking for something nice and fresh to eat, I would definitely recommend stopping by the chippy to grab something good. I called in to place my order, because Yelp was not working for me unfortunately to place one online, and the customer service over the phone oh my goodness was amazing. I felt like I was speaking with my best friend talking about good food. It took them about 15 minutes to finish making our meal, once I walked up to the window and handed my order with the big smile. I definitely felt the love! the fries are handmade. You can't catch handmade fries too often and they are YUM. That lime seasoning isn't too much or too little. They have seats outside and they were filled with happy customers as we walked up to get our food. And I'm a BIG sauce girl, every is 5 stars . Nice area to enjoy some food by the sand. Also the calamari was sold out yall, so that means ORDER IT lol. I missed my chance.

This is a little grab and go snack shack just off of the main boardwalk in Venice Beach. It's well decorated and colorful. - I purchased the fries and I found them very delicious. The person taking my order was polite and answered all of my questions. The service was quick and I enjoyed my experience.

Window Only, outside seating. Delicious! Those are your bullet points. Eater LA had a mini-spotlight on this spot in their top places to eat in Venice, CA. Otherwise, it's a tiny hole in the wall, in a weird eclectic area, that I would've walked past. But we drove here, specifically for this place. Anyway, They were right. The classic Fish & Chips is BIG and fantastic. Very filling. They offer spices for their fries too. Obvi I went with the jalapeño seasoning, and it was GREAT. Super helpful employee who explained all the options well. If anyone I know goes to Venice, I will recommend this spot.
